Mold. Chemicals.
Forever chemicals.
The load you can’t see.
Fatigue, brain fog, headaches and flares that don’t add up? For some people, the missing piece is toxin burden: more mold, chemical and environmental exposure than the body can clear. We help you find out, then build a plan to lighten the load.
Nearly all Americans tested by the CDC have PFAS in their blood

Toxin overload, explained
When toxins come in faster than your body can clear them.
Your body is built to detox every day. Toxin burden builds when exposure keeps outpacing your liver, kidneys, gut and lymph, and the overflow starts to show up as symptoms.
1 · What comes in
2 · How it leaves
Stress, poor sleep, low nutrients, a sluggish gut and genetics can all slow these exits down.
3 · The overflow
Signs of toxin burden
Symptoms are nonspecific and overlap with many conditions, which is why testing matters.
Educational illustration only. Symptoms like these have many possible causes. Talk with a qualified provider for evaluation and testing.
Where it comes from
Three sources. One bucket.
01
Mold & mycotoxins
Hidden water damage can release mold spores and mycotoxins into the air you breathe at home or work.
Musty smells or past leaks
Symptoms that ease when you travel
Sinus, cough or skin reactions
02
Environmental toxins
Everyday exposure to heavy metals, pesticides, solvents and air pollution adds up over years.
Lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium
Pesticides on produce
VOCs from paint, cleaners, fragrance
03
Forever chemicals
PFAS and microplastics break down slowly, so they can build up in the body and the environment.
Tap water and nonstick cookware
Food packaging and stain-resistant fabrics
Plastic bottles and containers

Good questions
-
You can’t tell from symptoms alone, since they overlap with many conditions. We start with your history and an exposure review, then use labs to guide next steps.
-
Depending on your history, Dr. Lizardi may recommend labs that look at things like mycotoxins, heavy metals or how well your detox pathways are working. We’ll explain what each test can and can’t tell you.
-
Most over-the-counter cleanses aren’t built around your exposures or labs, and some can backfire. A plan based on testing, reducing exposure and supporting your own detox organs is a safer place to start.
-
It depends on your exposures, how long they’ve been going on and your overall health. Many plans run over several months, with check-ins to track progress.
-
If there’s ongoing exposure, like mold at home, reducing it is an important step. Otherwise your body keeps refilling the bucket. We can help you think through where to start.
