The science, simply
What is peptide
therapy?
“Peptide therapy” is an umbrella term. The potential benefits, risks and quality of evidence depend on the exact medication, the reason for using it and the person receiving it.
01
Short chains of amino acids
Peptides are small proteins your body already makes and uses.
02
Some act as signals
Certain peptides tell cells what to do. Peptide medicines use specific molecules to influence specific processes.
03
Not one treatment
Each peptide is different, so each needs its own look at evidence, safety and fit.
Bring your curiosity
Big names.
Personal questions.
You may already have a compound in mind. These names cover different substances, not one interchangeable treatment, and many have limited clinical evidence. Bring any of them to your consultation.
BPC-157 TB-500 CJC GHK-Cu MOTS-c Sermorelin KPV Thymosin alpha-1 Selank Semax Ipamorelin DSIP PT-141 ARA-290 Pinealon Kisspeptin VIP Cerebrolysin Tirzepatide Retatrutide GLOW blend NAD+ 5-Amino-1MQ
Tirzepatide & retatrutide
Specific tirzepatide products have FDA-approved uses; a compounded version is not an approved product. Retatrutide remains unapproved, and the FDA states it can’t be used in compounding.
GLOW, NAD+ & 5-Amino-1MQ
GLOW combines BPC-157, GHK-Cu and TB-500. A blend name doesn’t establish safety or effectiveness, so each ingredient needs review. NAD+ and 5-Amino-1MQ are discussed separately.
PT-141
Also called bremelanotide. The FDA-approved product Vyleesi has a specific indication for certain premenopausal women with acquired, generalized low sexual desire. It isn’t approved as a general performance enhancer.
Medical care, holistic perspective
How it works
at OMNI LIFE.
A plan starts with your story. You don’t need to choose a peptide before your appointment.
01
Understand the full picture
We discuss your goals, health history, current medications, previous treatments and any recent results.
02
Make an informed choice
We review the options that may fit, their evidence, potential risks and alternatives. Sometimes the right answer is more testing, another approach or no medication at all.
03
Know what comes next
If treatment is recommended, we cover instructions, monitoring, follow-up and costs before you decide. Booking is for an evaluation, not a guaranteed prescription.
A clearer place to begin
Peptide therapy questions, answered.
-
A physician needs to review your goals, health history, medications and the reason you’re considering treatment. A consultation may lead to another therapy or no medication.
-
No. Approval applies to specific products for specific uses. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved, and many peptides discussed online remain investigational.
-
Risks vary by medication, formulation, dose and your health history. Discuss side effects, interactions and monitoring with your clinician before starting.
-
Please confirm the consultation fee with our team. We’re a cash-pay clinic and don’t accept insurance. Testing, medication and follow-up are separate.
-
There’s no single timeline. It depends on the medication, your goal and individual factors.
-
It depends on the treatment. Your clinician will explain how it’s used and what follow-up is needed. Don’t use online dosing or mixing instructions instead of your prescription.
