  • Administered Instructions:

    Using an alcohol prep pad, sanitize the top of the vial. Then using a different alcohol pad, sanitize the subcutaneous area (stomach fat). Using an insulin syringe, draw .25 (10 units on the syringe) INJECT SUBCUTANEOUSLY (stomach fat) daily before bedtime. Always use a sterile insulin syringe (never reuse needles). Dispose of syringes at our clinic or Walgreens sharps container drop-off. Refrigerate the vial after each use, make sure the vial is also upright at all times and never tilted to the side.

    The medication is designed to increase each month to toleration. If you have any adverse reactions please contact our office immediately. 

    Frequency: 

    Inject 1x's a week. 

    Dosing Instructions:

    Month 1: 10 Units = 0.25 mg

    Month 2: 20 units = 0.5 mg

    Month 3: 40 units = 1.0 mg

    Month 4: 68 units = 1.7mg

    Month 5: 96 units = 2.4mg

It's important that all of your healthcare needs are discussed prior to starting Semaglutide as there may exist certain contraindications.

The amount of time they remain on it, however, is dependent upon their personal objectives; while 8 to 12 weeks are common duration times, Semaglutide can be utilized safely in long-term programs as well.
